Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of wireless communication, in particular to a channel state information reporting method and a related device. The method comprises the following steps: receiving a first channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS); and sending first channel state information (CSI) obtained based on the measurement result of the first CSI-RS to the network equipment. The first CSI comprises indication information used for determining a first vector set of the target precoding matrix. And receiving the second CSI-RS. And sending a second CSI obtained based on the measurement result of the second CSI-RS and the second vector set to the network device. The second CSI comprises a first weighting coefficient corresponding to a universal set or a subset of the second vector set, the second vector set is a universal set or a subset of the first vector set, and the first weighting coefficient and the second vector set are used for determining a target precoding moment. By adopting the method provided by the invention, the overhead of CSI reporting can be effectively reduced, so that efficient use of communication resources is ensured.
