Abstract

A method for recycling waste water treatment membranes, comprising the following steps: a) recycling the polysulfone, polyacrylonitrile or polyvinylidene fluoride layer of the waste water treatment membrane by solvent dissolution to obtain casting solution and undissolved polyester; b) recycling the undissolved polyester by catalyzing ethylene glycol alcoholysis with oxygen-rich defective molybdenum-magnesium oxide nanosheets to obtain polymeric monomers, which are then prepared into regenerated polyester by polycondensation and into a new base membrane by spinning; c) coating the new base membrane with the casting solution by solution coating, non-solvent phase inversion, solidification and cleaning in sequence to obtain microfiltration or ultrafiltration membranes; and d) impregnating the microfiltration or ultrafiltration membranes with monomers, performing interfacial polymerization, washing and solidifying in sequence to obtain nanofiltration or reverse osmosis membranes. The recycling method can efficiently recycle microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis polymer water treatment membranes, and has the advantages of wide application range, closed-loop recycling, green sustainability and the like.
