All-solid-state battery and use thereof

Abstract

This invention proposes an all-solid-state battery and its application. The all-solid-state battery includes: a positive electrode; a lithium metal negative electrode with a protective layer on its surface; and a solid electrolyte membrane disposed between the positive electrode and the lithium metal negative electrode, the solid electrolyte membrane comprising a sulfide solid electrolyte. This invention provides an all-solid-state battery and its application, which enhances the interfacial stability between the lithium metal negative electrode and the solid electrolyte, reduces the occurrence of side reactions, and, when used in combination with the sulfide solid electrolyte provided in this application, achieves an all-solid-state battery with long cycle performance.
