After ignition is completed, the igniter is turned off and reset, the driving motor is started to drive the two-way lead screw to rotate reversely, the two connecting strips are made to be away from each other until the cloth is stretched straight, the parallel light plate is started to irradiate the surface of the cloth, and light emitted by the parallel light plate penetrates through the fire hole position of the cloth and irradiates the corresponding light receiver; the flame retardant effect of the cloth is obtained by judging the burning degree of the cloth according to the number of the light receivers receiving the light, and compared with traditional manual measurement, the missing area of the cloth after burning can be more comprehensively, rapidly and accurately obtained through the arrangement, and the accuracy of a detection result is improved.
