Aluminum-based lithium adsorbent as well as preparation method and application thereof

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of adsorbent preparation, and particularly relates to an aluminum-based lithium adsorbent and a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out primary hydrolysis on an aluminum source, adding a lithium source, carrying out secondary hydrolysis to form a lithium-aluminum intercalation compound, carrying out continuous reaction, adding urea, and carrying out reaction to finally form a solid powder adsorbent; and (2) granulating through a free radical polymerization method, mixing acrylamide, 2-mercaptobenzoic acid, ammonium persulfate and the powder adsorbent obtained in the step (1) to form uniform slurry, and sequentially granulating, washing and drying. According to the prepared aluminum-based lithium adsorbent, the lithium-aluminum layered hydroxide is prepared by adopting a one-step synthesis method, the synthesis process is short, the dissolution loss rate is low, the annual loss rate is smaller than or equal to 5%, and the adsorption performance is good. And the long cycle service life is achieved, and the durability is greatly improved.
