A method for compacting green bodies in powder binder jet 3D printing

Abstract

This invention discloses a method for compacting green bodies in powder binder jet 3D printing, belonging to the field of powder 3D printing technology, to solve the problem in existing technologies where compaction cannot be performed after single-layer slices are laid up during 3D printing. The method includes providing a reciprocating compaction plate; surface-treating the working surface of the reciprocating compaction plate so that it does not adhere to or only partially adheres to the binder and powder in the single-layer slice; placing the reciprocating compaction plate directly above the single-layer slice, with the working surface of the reciprocating compaction plate facing the single-layer slice; driving the reciprocating compaction plate downwards to compact and pressurize the single-layer slice; after pressurization, driving the reciprocating compaction plate upwards to separate the reciprocating compaction plate from the single-layer slice, completing the compaction process of the single-layer slice. This invention can be used for green body compaction in powder binder jet 3D printing.
