Multi-performance carbon fiber / epoxy resin composite material and preparation method thereof

Abstract

The invention relates to a multifunctional carbon fiber / epoxy resin composite material and a preparation method thereof.The preparation method comprises the steps that carbon fibers coated with a PDA layer are prepared through an in-situ polymerization method, and then Co3O4 nanosheets are self-assembled on the surfaces of the carbon fibers; the carbon fiber / epoxy resin composite material with high mechanical property and excellent electromagnetic shielding property is obtained through a series of compression molding processes. According to the invention, the surface of the carbon fiber is subjected to multi-component modification, so that the interface bonding strength between the carbon fiber and the epoxy resin is effectively improved, the extension of a conductive network in the material is promoted, and the bending strength, the interlaminar shear strength and the electromagnetic interference shielding performance of the modified composite material are obviously enhanced. The invention opens up a new way for preparing the multifunctional carbon fiber / epoxy resin composite material with high mechanical property and electromagnetic shielding property, and has potential application value in the fields of military equipment, aerospace, automobiles and the like.
