Abstract

The application provides a silicon-carbon composite material, a preparation method and a battery. The silicon-carbon composite material comprises: a core, wherein the core comprises a silicon-carbon material, the silicon-carbon material comprises porous silicon, and at least part of the porous silicon is filled with first amorphous carbon; and a coating layer, wherein the coating layer comprises second amorphous carbon and lithium-containing inorganic matter, and the second amorphous carbon and the lithium-containing inorganic matter are combined to coat at least part of the surface of the core. The silicon-carbon material formed by filling amorphous carbon in the pores of the porous silicon has low interface impedance, which can improve the electronic conductivity of the composite material. In addition, the lithium-containing inorganic matter in the coating layer and the combined coating layer formed by the amorphous carbon can improve the ionic conductivity of the material. The combination of the two can improve the rate performance and cycle performance of the silicon-carbon composite material.
