Bacillus velezensis MY-8 and application thereof in preventing and treating plant diseases

Abstract

The Bacillus velezensis MY-8 has obvious broad-spectrum bacteriostatic activity, has significant inhibiting effect on various plant pathogenic bacteria including Alternaria brassicae, Rhizopus arrhizus, Cladosporium herbarum, Fusarium decemcellulare, A. alternata, Cladosporium cladosporioides, Botryosphaeria dothidea, Fusarium oxysporum, Geotrichum candidum, G. capsulatum, A.arundinis and has significant prevention and treatment effect on downy mildew, and is expected to be prepared into a microbial preparation for biological control, and has the purposes of biological pesticide, biological fertilizer, plant growth promoter and the like. The Bacillus velezensis MY-8 can also express a domain-containing protein of DUF4393, indicating that it has potential anti-phage infection ability.
