Abstract

The present invention relates to a test device and a test method suitable for a dummy. The test device suitable for a dummy comprises a seat plate and a back plate, wherein the seat plate is used to fit the upper limb part connected to the dummy's hip part, and the back plate is used to bear the lower limb part connected to the dummy's hip part; a core fixing part, which is used to pivotally connect the seat plate and the back plate; a pitch adjuster, which is used to adjust the pitch angle of the seat plate and the back plate; a weight, which is used to adjust the counterweight of the dummy; the seat plate and the back plate, when in a mutually fitted state, form a hollow structure with a receiving cavity, and the receiving cavity is used to place the weight. The present invention can meet the test requirements for vehicle seats, is easy to adjust, and can improve the test efficiency.
