Application of honeysuckle-derived exosome in preparation of product for preventing, improving or treating inflammatory bowel disease

Abstract

The invention relates to application of honeysuckle-derived exosomes (HNVs) in preparation of a product for preventing, improving or treating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Specifically, the honeysuckle-derived exosomes (HNVs) provided by the invention can effectively inhibit inflammation and improve the symptoms of colitis. In addition, the HNVs can increase the number of intestinal goblet cells and mucoprotein expression, reduce the permeability of the intestinal tract and repair the barrier of the intestinal tract. The HNVs can also regulate and control the intestinal flora structure, improve the abundance of beneficial bacteria, reduce the abundance of harmful bacteria and increase the content of beneficial metabolites such as butyrate, and the discovery provides a basis for the HNVs as potential functional food, medicine and the like of IBD.
