Abstract

The invention relates to the field of evaporative cooling devices, in particular to a special motor assembly for an evaporative cooler and a using method thereof, and the special motor assembly comprises a drainage mechanism which is used for introducing formed hot air into the device; the cooling mechanism is used for cooling the motor; the motor assembly comprises a cooling mechanism and a drainage mechanism, a protective cover shell is fixedly installed on the inner side of the cooling mechanism, the drainage mechanism is fixedly installed on the outer side of the protective cover shell, a perforated plate is fixedly installed at the end, away from the drainage mechanism, of the protective cover shell, and a motor assembly is fixedly installed in the protective cover shell. When the servo motor is started, an opening, which is originally blocked by the insertion blocking plate, in the stepped cover sleeve can be opened, so that the function of making a preparation for entering of subsequent hot air is achieved, and meanwhile, the insertion blocking plate blocks the stepped cover sleeve, so that the function of preventing external hot air from influencing the motor assembly when the servo motor is not started is achieved.
