A composite separator against lithium dendrite growth, a preparation method thereof, and a lithium ion battery

Abstract

The application discloses a lithium dendrite growth resistant composite diaphragm, a preparation method thereof and a lithium ion battery, and belongs to the technical field of lithium ion batteries. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a metal nitrate loaded mesoporous carbon material, wherein the metal oxidation-reduction potential of the metal nitrate is higher than that of lithium; uniformly mixing the metal nitrate loaded mesoporous carbon material, ceramic powder, a binder, a dispersing agent, a surfactant and an aqueous thickening agent solution in water to prepare a mixed slurry; coating the mixed slurry on one side of a diaphragm substrate, and drying to obtain the lithium dendrite growth resistant composite diaphragm. The lithium dendrite growth resistant composite diaphragm can continuously inhibit lithium dendrite growth, and through the synergistic effect of various substances, the negative electrode is collectively protected to improve the electrochemical and safety performance of the battery.
