METHOD, ARCHITECTURE, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR PHASE-BASED POSITIONING OF NEW RADIO (NR) Uu

Abstract

Processes, methods, architectures, apparatuses, systems, devices, and computer program products for and / or relating to phase-based positioning of a new radio (NR) Uu are described. The method may be implemented in a WTRU. The method may include receiving configuration information indicating (i) a set of resources for phase measurements and (ii) a line of sight (LOS) condition for reporting phase measurements. The method may further include obtaining LOS values associated with a resource set for phase measurement, determining from the resource set one or more resources for which LOS conditions may be satisfied based on the LOS values, and transmitting reporting information, the report information indicates one or more phase measurements associated with one or more resources for which LOS conditions are satisfied.
