Light emitting diode chip set, display backlight module and illumination module

Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a light-emitting diode chip set, a display backlight module and an illumination module, and relates to the technical field of semiconductors, the light-emitting diode chip set generates white light and comprises at least one multi-wavelength chip, and the multi-wavelength chip comprises an N-type semiconductor layer, a P-type semiconductor layer, a first light-emitting layer and a second light-emitting layer. The first light-emitting layer generates light of at least one wave band in an electroluminescence mode and excites the second light-emitting layer to generate light of at least two wave bands, the number of wavelengths contained in the light of each wave band is larger than or equal to 1 and smaller than or equal to 10, and a hole isolation area exists between the first light-emitting layer and the second light-emitting layer. The light-emitting diode chip set can break through the limitation of a traditional white light scheme (blue chips + yellow fluorescent powder or blue chips + green fluorescent powder + red fluorescent powder), the reliability is improved, the service life is prolonged, and a single fluorescence-free multi-wavelength chip (at least comprising five color wavebands of blue, cyan, green, yellow and red) can form a full spectrum.
