Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of catalysts and provides an ethylbenzene dehydrogenation catalyst as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The catalyst is prepared from raw materials including a catalyst waste material, red mud, an exciting agent, a binder and a pore-forming agent, the catalyst waste material is a waste material generated in the production process of the Fe-K-Ce-Mo series catalyst. According to the catalyst provided by the invention, the two industrial wastes, namely the red mud and the catalyst wastes, are reused, so that the economic effect is generated, and a very good environment-friendly effect is achieved; the catalytic performance of the catalyst is basically equivalent to that of a conventional Fe-K-Ce-Mo series catalyst, and the strength is better.
