Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of specimen preparation, and provides a preparation method of a large-sized stalagmite sample slice. The preparation method provided by the invention comprises the following steps: performing first linear cutting on a stalagmite sample to obtain a sheet precursor; sequentially carrying out coarse grinding and first fine grinding on one cutting surface of the sheet precursor to form a smooth surface; a transparent epoxy resin material (including epoxy resin, a curing agent and a diluent, and the curing agent includes polypropylene glycol di (2-aminopropyl) ether and alicyclic amine) is utilized to adhere the sheet precursor to a glass slide, and a precursor sheet is obtained; and carrying out second linear cutting on the pink bamboo shoot sample part in the precursor sheet parallel to the glass slide, and carrying out second fine grinding on the formed cutting surface to obtain the large pink bamboo shoot sample sheet. According to the preparation method, the problem of explosion of the glass slide is avoided, and the complete large-size stalagmite sample slice is prepared.
