Novel cable wrapping type intermediate joint structure

Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of cable joints, in particular to a novel cable wrapping type intermediate joint structure which comprises two cables and further comprises a cable core, and a cable insulating layer is wrapped outside the cable core. The cable insulation layer is sleeved with the prefabricated insulation arc, the prefabricated insulation arc does not make contact with the cable insulation outer shielding layer, the side, away from the cable insulation outer shielding layer, of the prefabricated insulation arc is an inclined face, and the arc face is coated with semi-conductive paint; and the insulating self-adhesive tape is wrapped between the two prefabricated insulating arcs, and the prefabricated insulating arcs and the insulating self-adhesive tape are made of ethylene propylene diene monomer. Distribution of electrical field intensity is improved by adopting a geometric method, system faults caused by increase of dielectric loss of a stress control belt in the cable operation process are avoided, capacitance current flowing into a semi-conductive end of terminal insulation is dispersed to stray capacitors by increasing the geometric size of additional insulation and increasing the surface stray capacitance, and the stability of the cable is improved. Therefore, the electric field at the shielding end part is uniformly distributed.
