Strong authentication method and device

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for authenticating a user wearing a device for immersion in a virtual space, the method comprising: detecting (415) a first hand of the user placed in front of a camera of the immersion device; when a first hand of the user is detected, displaying (420) a representation of the first hand in the virtual space; displaying (430) at least one virtual authentication object projected onto the representation of the first hand in the virtual space; detecting (440) an interactive movement with the at least one virtual authentication object performed in the virtual space by the user while the at least one virtual authentication object is displayed as projected on a representation of the first hand in the virtual space; obtaining (470) an authentication decision based on at least two authentication factors, the at least two authentication factors include a first biometric factor validated from a biometric print acquired for the first hand by the immersion device when the first hand is detected and a second knowledge factor validated by comparing the detected interactive movement to a time series of secret interactive movements known to the user.
