Abstract

The invention discloses a modifier for improving erosion resistance of a fused cast zirconia corundum refractory material and the prepared fused cast zirconia corundum refractory material. The modifier comprises three or more of tungsten powder, yttrium oxide, cobalt sesquioxide, chromium sesquioxide and molybdenum powder. When the precisely blended raw materials are smelted at high temperature to form a final product, different types of trace elements are subjected to complex interaction reaction, so that a product has a more compact microstructure characteristic and a uniform distribution state. Especially, by adding a proper amount of rare substances such as Mo, W and Y2O3, the crystal boundary strengthening effect can be promoted, and then the overall mechanical property is improved. Experiments prove that the erosion resistance of the prepared fused cast zirconia corundum refractory material is greatly improved and is close to that of a high-zirconium brick, the service life of the refractory material is greatly prolonged, the consistency and reliability of the quality of a glass product are indirectly guaranteed, the production cost is reduced, and the economic benefit is huge.
