Abstract

This invention discloses a welding device and method for forming and processing lightweight machine tool frames. The invention relates to the field of welding equipment technology. It includes a movable block with a through hole inside. A screw passes through the through hole and penetrates the movable block. An extension block is fixedly connected to the outside of the movable block. A hydraulic cylinder is fixedly connected to the top of the extension block. A fixed plate is fixedly connected to the output end of the hydraulic cylinder. A semi-circular plate is fixedly connected to the bottom of the fixed plate. A welding component is rotatably connected to the bottom center of the semi-circular plate. A motor is fixedly connected to the outside of the semi-circular plate. This welding device and method for forming and processing lightweight machine tool frames allows the welding component to rotate within a through groove, thereby adjusting the welding angle of the welding component. This ensures the welding component is at a suitable welding angle, facilitating welding operations. By adjusting the appropriate angle, the molten metal in the weld pool can better fill the weld seam under the action of gravity.
