Abstract

This application provides a battery management system, a battery pack, and an electric vehicle, relating to the field of battery technology. The system includes: multiple slave-controlled battery management layers, each used to collect battery operating parameters of a corresponding individual cell through a cell management chip installed on each individual cell, and extract individual cell features from the battery operating parameters; multiple master-controlled battery management layers, each acquiring individual cell features extracted by a slave-controlled battery management layer, estimating the SOC and SOH of the battery pack based on the individual cell features, and managing the corresponding battery pack; and a battery cluster management layer, used to acquire the SOC estimation data, SOH estimation data, and battery pack management data estimated by each master-controlled battery management layer, and perform a battery health self-check based on the battery pack management data. This application can comprehensively monitor battery status and improve the accuracy of battery status estimation.
