Application of protein biomarkers in extracellular vesicles in ovarian cancer detection

Abstract

The invention discloses an application of a group of protein biomarkers in extracellular vesicles in ovarian cancer detection. The biomarkers are HEL2, RAB11B, HSPA4, ACTG1, CD147, GLUT3, RHOA, CD46 and RAN. The biomarker can be independently used in ovarian cancer detection, or can be used in combination with a conventional ovarian cancer detection biomarker. A group of specific markers screened by the invention are high in sensitivity and strong in specificity, can timely discover the ovarian cancer in an early stage, are reliable in detection result, can independently detect the ovarian cancer or jointly evaluate the ovarian cancer in combination with other indexes, can remarkably improve the sensitivity and specificity of early screening of the ovarian cancer, and can improve the specificity to 100% when being combined with CA125 for use. And the misdiagnosis rate can be obviously reduced. When the biomarker is applied, only a small number of serum samples are needed, complex operation is not needed, and the biomarker is suitable for large-scale screening.
