Responder subscriber station of serial bus system, commander subscriber station of serial bus system and method of communicating in serial bus system

Abstract

A responder subscriber station for a serial bus system, a commander subscriber station for a serial bus system, and a method for communicating in a serial bus system are provided. The responder subscriber station has a communication control device for controlling the communication of the subscriber station with the commander subscriber station of the bus system and for evaluating at least one signal received from the bus of the bus system in accordance with a predetermined frame in which the bit time in the first communication phase can differ from the bit time in the second communication phase, wherein a field may be present in the frame for switching a first bit time and a first physical layer in a first communication stage to a second bit time and a second physical layer in a second communication stage; and a synchronization module for synchronizing the communication control device with the signal received from the bus, the synchronization module being designed to switch off its synchronization function if the communication control device should act as the sender of the frame such that the responder subscriber station is the sender of the signal received from the bus.
