The invention discloses a large-cross-section and variable-cross-section telescopic independent column formwork and a construction method thereof.The large-cross-section and variable-cross-section telescopic independent column formwork comprises a bottom small formwork and a top variable-cross-section integrated large formwork, the variable-cross-section integrated large formwork comprises four corner variable-cross-section formworks of the same structure and width adjusting plates on the four sides, subsection and assembly are ingeniously conducted, and the construction efficiency is improved; the two telescopic modes are combined into a whole which is telescopic; the bottom small cross section is telescopic by adopting a variable cross section adjusting hole and a steel plate flanging I, so that the enclosing size of the bottom small cross section can be changed; the large section of the top is telescopically adjusted through the width adjusting plate, the design of an existing large-section and variable-section telescopic independent column formwork is guaranteed, the size can be telescopically adjusted under the condition that the protruding distance of the variable section is fixed, construction of multiple working conditions is met, batch manufacturing and using can be achieved, and the construction cost is greatly saved.
