The present disclosure relates to methods, systems, and devices related to wireless communications, and more particularly, to determining an association between a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port and a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) port for uplink transmission. A wireless communication method comprises: a wireless communication device receiving an indication having a plurality of bits; wherein the indication is indicated in downlink control information (DCI); and the wireless communication device determining an association between a plurality of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports and a plurality of phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) ports according to the indication.
