Crop seed germination recognition device and method

Abstract

The invention relates to the field of agricultural equipment, and discloses a crop seed germination recognition device and method. The system comprises an image acquisition module, a dynamic adjustment module, a data processing module and a communication module. The image acquisition module is composed of a high-resolution camera and an annular light supplementing lamp and can accurately capture the whole process dynamic state from seed skin breaking to seedling forming; the dynamic adjustment module is composed of an electric push rod and a rotating platform and adjusts the position in real time according to the seed germination stage; and the data processing module adopts a deep learning algorithm and an image segmentation technology to automatically identify characteristics of a germination stage and calculate germination rate and germination potential indexes. The matching method comprises the steps of image preprocessing, feature extraction, state classification and data visualization, and supports multi-crop seed template library matching. According to the invention, the problems of low efficiency and large subjective error of traditional manual observation are solved, all-weather automatic monitoring is realized, the identification accuracy rate reaches 95% or above, and the method can be widely applied to agricultural scientific research and breeding production.
