A gene associated with magnesium ion transport and its applications

Abstract

This invention discloses a gene related to magnesium ion transport and its application, wherein the gene is a tobacco gene, and the gene sequence is shown in SEQ ID NO.1; one application of the gene is to construct an expression vector containing a fragment of the gene related to magnesium ion transport; another application is to tobacco cultivation, which affects the transport capacity of magnesium ions, enhances the photosynthetic capacity of tobacco, plays a key role in optimizing crop yield and quality, and can improve existing tobacco varieties.
