A lithium-ion battery separator based on a composite coating, its preparation method and application

Abstract

This invention discloses a lithium-ion battery separator based on a composite coating, its preparation method, and its application, belonging to the field of battery separator technology. The lithium-ion battery separator based on the composite coating of this invention includes a base film and a composite coating adhered to the surface of the base film. In the preparation of the lithium-ion battery separator based on the composite coating of this invention, a composite coating slurry is first coated onto the surface of the base film, and then plasma activated. The composite coating slurry includes inorganic heat-resistant materials, polymeric binders, functional additives, solvents, dispersants, thickeners, wetting agents, and defoamers. The functional additives are any one or a combination of two of bismaleimide polyethylene glycol and highly dispersed carbon nanotubes. The polymeric binder includes any one or a combination of two of furan-containing polyimide and aramid fibers.
