Abstract

The invention provides a license plate recognition method and device for roadside parking, electronic equipment and a program product. The method comprises the steps of determining motion state parameters of a to-be-parked vehicle according to three-dimensional point cloud data obtained by scanning a target parking area; according to the motion state parameters, the vehicle state of the vehicle to be parked is predicted; according to the predicted vehicle state, a target adjustment angle corresponding to the target camera is determined, and the target adjustment angle is a rotation angle needed when the optical axis of the target camera is adjusted to be in an orthogonal state with the plane where the license plate of the to-be-parked vehicle is located; performing attitude adjustment on the target camera based on the target adjustment angle; acquiring a license plate image corresponding to the to-be-parked vehicle according to the target camera after posture adjustment; and performing license plate recognition according to the license plate image.
