An unattended, group-based parking space sharing system and method

Abstract

This invention relates to the field of smart parking technology and discloses an unattended, cluster-style parking space sharing system and method, comprising: a user terminal for parking space owners to input parking space location information, license plate number, and vacancy rate threshold, and to record parking trajectory; for temporary users to register license plate information and navigate to shared parking spaces; a license plate recognition device, installed at the parking lot gate, for recognizing the license plates of vehicles entering and exiting and sending them to a backend server; a backend server, including a database and a processing module, for: storing community map data, owner parking space status, and vacancy rate threshold; receiving parking trajectory data from the user terminal and generating an indoor map through inertial navigation modeling; dynamically managing the parking space sharing status: when the ratio of vacant parking spaces to effective shared parking spaces meets the vacancy rate threshold, granting temporary vehicle entry permission; allocating and navigating temporary vehicles to vacant shared parking spaces; and a gate control module, responding to instructions from the backend server to open and close the gate.
