Abstract

A vacuum cleaner according to an embodiment may include: a suction device that sucks foreign matter on a surface to be cleaned; a vacuum cleaner main body for collecting the foreign matter sucked by the suction device; and a transfer unit provided between the suction device and the cleaner body and transferring the foreign matter sucked in from the suction device to the cleaner body, in which the suction device includes: a housing having an open opening at one surface thereof; a rotating drum disposed in the housing so as to be rotatable about one axis; a drive motor applying a rotational force to rotate the rotary drum about one axis; a rotating chamber arranged to surround the driving motor and arranged to be coaxially rotatable with the rotating drum about the one axis; and a cooling fluid discharge hole provided at one end of the rotating chamber.
