Abstract

A peer-to-peer controller for operating in a blockchain environment based on an execution-ordering-verification normal form. The peer-to-peer controller is further configured to receive a root request from a client regarding a modification to a block, retrieve information from a classification account, and retrieve a path in a Patricia Merkle prefix tree until the transaction responsible for the modification. Further, the peer-to-peer controller is configured to generate a transaction Merkle path for transactions within the block, and return the transaction Merkle path, the information from the classification account, and a path in the Patricia Merkle prefix tree to provide improved verification of a block with reduced CPU processing time.
