Abstract

The invention provides application of a rice OsranBP1 gene in regulation and control of plant stress resistance. The rice OsranBP1 gene has the function of negatively regulating the salt stress resistance of rice, and the rice OsranBP1 gene is knocked out by utilizing a CRISPR / Cas9 gene editing technology, so that the survival rate of a mutant rice plant under the salt stress in the seedling stage is obviously higher than that of wild rice. The rice OsranBP1 gene can be applied to rice genetic improvement so as to obtain a salt-tolerant rice variety, and a new gene resource is provided for salt-tolerant breeding of rice.
