Abstract

The embodiment of the invention relates to a method and equipment for detecting a target event, a medium and a program product. The method includes obtaining a selection operation for a first image in presented first media content, the selection operation indicating selection of a local area in the first image, the local area indicating occurrence of a target event. The method further includes providing a target vehicle-mounted effect corresponding to the target event in response to the local area being presented again in the subsequent image. Through the method for detecting the target event provided by the embodiment of the invention, the target event to be detected and the local area can be allowed to be autonomously set, so that a scheme for detecting the target event can be flexibly designed, and the user experience can be improved.
