A back-blowing double gate valve

Abstract

This invention relates to a backflush double gate valve, belonging to the technical field of gate valves. It includes a pipe body and two sets of gate valve assemblies connected in series within the pipe body. Each gate valve assembly includes a valve body, a valve stem, and a gate. The valve body has guide ribs on the inner walls on both sides of the gate, and guide grooves are formed on both sides of the gate. A piston plate is fixedly connected to the valve stem, positioned above the gate, dividing the interior of the valve body into a gate cavity below the piston plate and a piston cavity above the piston plate. Flow channels connecting the gate cavity and the piston cavity are formed on the guide ribs on both sides. When the piston plate moves within the valve body, a pressure difference is created between the gate cavity and the piston cavity. When fluid moves downwards along the flow channels, it flushes the channels between the valve seats. This invention solves the problem of impurities easily accumulating in the internal channels of the valve body in existing technologies.
