Abstract

The application discloses a solar cell and a photovoltaic module. The solar cell comprises a semiconductor substrate and a current collecting grid line, a surface of the semiconductor substrate provided with the current collecting grid line is a target surface; along an extension direction of the current collecting grid line, the target surface has an edge region and a middle region, the extension direction of the current collecting grid line is a first direction; the edge region has a plurality of first texture structures extending along a second direction, and the middle region has a plurality of second texture structures extending along the second direction; along the extension direction of the current collecting grid line, the first texture structure located in the edge region has a first distribution density, the second texture structure located in the middle region has a second distribution density, the first distribution density is greater than the second distribution density, and the first direction intersects the second direction. By the fact that the current collecting grid line is not approximately parallel to the texture structure and the distribution density of the first texture structure in the edge region is higher than that of the second texture structure in the middle region, the linearity of the current collecting grid line is improved.
