Abstract

The invention discloses a carbon-based electrode active material for a lithium ion battery as well as a preparation method and application of the carbon-based electrode active material, and belongs to the technical field of new energy batteries. The invention provides a preparation method of a carbon-based electrode active material for a lithium ion battery. The preparation method comprises the following steps: S1, pyrolyzing rice hulls; s2, pickling the pyrolysis product obtained in the step S1; s3, in a protective atmosphere, mixing the acid pickling product obtained in the step S2 with an alkaline activator, calcining, and washing the calcined product with water; s4, in a protective atmosphere, mixing a product obtained in the step S3 with a doping reagent, and performing high-temperature treatment; the doping reagent contains S and N at the same time. By adopting the preparation method provided by the invention, the electrochemical performance of the obtained carbon-based electrode active material is excellent. The invention further discloses the carbon-based electrode active material prepared by the preparation method and application of the carbon-based electrode active material.
