Abstract

This invention provides an optical module and assembly method for non-removable pull-ring assembly, comprising: a pull-ring assembly and a housing, wherein: the housing has sliding groove assemblies extending from the optical port to the electrical port on both sides, the upper end of the sliding groove assembly is a limiting wall, the limiting wall is provided with a limiting chamber, and the sliding groove assembly is provided with a limiting platform; both sides of the pull-ring assembly are provided with braking pads, and the upper end of the braking pads is provided with an anti-outward expansion protrusion; the braking pads on both sides of the pull-ring assembly are respectively attached to the sliding groove assemblies on both sides of the housing, the braking pads are located between the limiting wall and the limiting platform, and the anti-outward expansion protrusion is embedded in the limiting chamber; through the above structure, the assembly between the pull-ring assembly and the housing is achieved without disassembling the housing, avoiding the impact on the performance parameters of the optical module after disassembling the housing.
