Application of fatty acid markers in gender identification of fingerprint leavers

Abstract

The application relates to the technical field of criminal science, and particularly discloses application of a fatty acid marker in gender identification of a fingerprint leaver. The application takes fatty acids as markers, determines the relative contents of 13 fatty acids in fingerprints, combines machine learning after training to build a fingerprint leaver gender identification model, realizes identification of the gender of the fingerprint leaver, and has the advantages of simple operation, high identification accuracy and wide applicability, and the overall accuracy of fingerprint gender classification can reach 90%. The fingerprint leaver gender identification method provided by the application has low dependence on fingerprint integrity, is less interfered by age factors, has low sensitivity requirement on instruments, can perform biological information mining on fingerprints that are difficult to identify, such as overlapping, fuzzy and incomplete fingerprints, and has wide applicability.
