Abstract

The invention discloses a TENM2 gene, the nucleotide sequence of the TENM2 gene is shown as SEQ ID NO: 1, and the application of the TENM2 gene in character prediction and molecular assisted breeding in chicken breed breeding is further the application in chicken distance character identification. The key gene TENM2 closely related to the chicken distance length character is systematically screened from a plurality of candidate genes for the first time, it is clear that the key gene TENM2 has remarkable specific high expression in chicken distance tissue, and the TENM2 gene can serve as a molecular marker of the chicken distance character and is applied to chicken breed character prediction and molecular assisted breeding; the method is simple and convenient to operate, stable in result and high in repeatability, and has good popularization and application prospects.
