Abstract

The invention discloses a peripheral adaptation method and system, electronic equipment, a storage medium and a program product. The method comprises the following steps: constructing virtual external equipment based on equipment description information of the external equipment; obtaining a calling request of calling the external equipment by the underlying operation system, and calling the virtual external equipment to reconstruct the calling request into a target calling request based on a preset conversion rule; and calling the external equipment based on the target calling request. According to the method and the device, the adaptation work of the external equipment and the bottom layer operation system can be realized by reconstructing the calling request based on the virtual external equipment and the preset conversion rule, so that the problem of complexity of one-by-one adaptation of each type of equipment and different operation systems in a traditional peripheral adaptation method is solved, and the adaptation period is effectively shortened; and the adaptation efficiency is improved.
