Modular converter system and energy storage system

Abstract

The modular converter system comprises a plurality of energy storage converters, a plurality of change-over switches and a controller, the controller identifies the architecture type of a direct current side system, and controls the change-over switches to select a corresponding direct current side system access path according to the architecture type so as to set the power supply modes of the plurality of energy storage converters. And the communication modes of the plurality of energy storage converters are set according to the architecture type. According to the technical scheme, a plurality of energy storage converter units which can be independently controlled are adopted, and the change-over switch and the controller are combined, so that the system can dynamically adjust adaptive power supply modes and communication modes based on direct current side systems of different battery frameworks, the adaptive capacity of the energy storage system to centralized and string battery frameworks is remarkably improved, and the energy storage efficiency is improved. And the universality and deployment flexibility of the system in various application scenes are enhanced.
