Abstract

An apparatus for dispensing one or more medicaments in the form of pellets is provided. The apparatus includes a cartridge assembly configured to store a medicament in the form of pellets and dispense the medicament upon actuation of one or more dispensing mechanisms located within the cartridge assembly. The apparatus further includes a control unit configured to actuate one or more dispensing mechanisms located within the cartridge assembly; and a cap comprising a collection region configured to receive and store the medication dispensed from the one or more dispensing mechanisms. The lid is movable between a first position in which the collection region of the lid forms a closed cavity and a second position in which the collection region is exposed so that a user can access the medicament contained therein.
