Connection system with projection for vehicle

Abstract

A system for structurally anchoring elements (4, 6) to a vehicle (1) comprises a male connector (12) having a plurality of protrusions (10), and a female connector (2) having: a plurality of holes (8) for receiving the respective protrusions (10) of the male connector (12); a movable element (7) configured to form a shape constraint with the projection (10) to retain the projection (10) within the hole (8); an actuator (9) for moving the movable element (7) between a locked position, in which the movable element (7) retains the projection (10) within the bore (8), and a released position, in which the movable element (7) allows removal of the projection (10) from the bore (8). The male connector (12) is intended to be mounted to the element (4, 6) to be anchored and the female connector (2) is intended to be mounted to the vehicle (1). The male and female connectors (2, 12) comprise electrically conductive portions (18, 20) configured for abutting each other in order to allow electrical energy flow and data transmission between the elements (4, 6) of the vehicle (1) and the control unit.
