A cover plate component is formed through ultrasonic welding, the cover plate component formed through ultrasonic welding of a confluence piece and a rivet is riveted with an inner insulation pad, an aluminum cover, an outer insulation pad and a pole to form a cover plate, sealing rings are arranged in riveting holes formed in the inner insulation pad and the aluminum cover, and the confluence piece comprises a confluence part, a fusing part and a connecting part. The middle of the fusing part is connected with a protection assembly. According to the aluminum shell cylindrical battery, module connection can be conducted through the resistance welding technology, the limitation that a traditional aluminum cover plate can only be welded through laser is overcome, resistance welding equipment is low in investment cost, the technology is simple, and the production threshold and the manufacturing cost can be greatly reduced.
