Multi-protocol streaming media forwarding system and method based on plug-in architecture

Abstract

The invention provides a multi-protocol streaming media forwarding system and method based on a plug-in architecture, and aims to solve the problems of poor compatibility to multiple protocols and high expansion cost in the existing streaming media system. According to the system, a modularized design is adopted, various flow receiving and transmitting protocols such as GB28281, ONVIF, RTSP, HTTP-FLV, WS-FMP4, HLS, HIKang / Dahua / Uamil private protocols and the like are packaged into independent plug-in components, registration and management are carried out through a unified protocol adapter interface, and protocol modules are supported to be dynamically loaded, unloaded and switched during operation. The system core comprises a stream receiving component management module, a stream sending component management module, a stream processing module, a forwarding engine and a control interface, and can realize real-time audio and video stream forwarding and protocol intercommunication among multiple protocols. The system has good expandability and maintainability, supports protocol seamless expansion and hot plug deployment, and is widely applied to application scenes such as edge node calculation and streaming media transfer platforms.
