Abstract

The invention discloses an evaporative emission testing device of a vehicle and an evaporative emission testing method thereof, and relates to the technical field of evaporative emission testing. The evaporative emission testing device of the vehicle comprises a sealed testing cabin, a miniature closed chamber, a sampling pipeline and a purging assembly, and the sealed testing cabin is used for accommodating the vehicle to be tested and is connected with a first hydrocarbon analyzer to monitor the hydrocarbon content in the sealed testing cabin. And the micro closed chamber is connected with a second hydrocarbon analyzer to monitor the hydrocarbon content in the micro closed chamber. The sampling pipeline is selectively communicated with a specific part or a purging assembly of the to-be-tested vehicle through the switching mechanism. When the sampling pipeline is communicated with a specific component, the sampling pipeline guides evaporative emissions of the specific component into the miniature closed chamber. And when the sampling pipeline is communicated with the purging assembly, the purging assembly blows the evaporative emissions retained in the sampling pipeline into the miniature closed chamber. And the first hydrocarbon analyzer and the second hydrocarbon analyzer synchronously work to carry out integrated test on the evaporative emission of the whole vehicle and the evaporative emission of the specific part.
