Brightness correction compensation method and device of display equipment

Abstract

The invention discloses a brightness correction compensation method and device for display equipment. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring brightness data of the display equipment under a plurality of gray scales; calculating a plurality of local gamma values based on the brightness data and the gray-scale values of the adjacent gray-scale pairs; determining a global gamma value based on the plurality of local gamma values; processing the brightness data of each pixel point under each gray scale based on the global gamma value, and generating a brightness correction model of each pixel point; and performing correction based on the brightness correction model of each pixel point. According to the method, correlation analysis between gray scales is established, a data relation mining layer is added before the brightness correction model is established, the nonlinear influence of complex brightness distribution is eliminated, high-quality data is provided for subsequent generation of the brightness correction model, fitting errors are remarkably reduced, and the method is superior to a traditional direct fitting method.
