Antibacterial nonapeptide and application thereof

Abstract

The invention discloses an antibacterial nonapeptide and application thereof, and belongs to the field of antibacterial peptide synthesis. According to the invention, an antibacterial peptide with an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO.1 is designed; the invention further provides application of the antibacterial peptide in the aspects of inhibiting bacterium growth and the like. Experimental results show that the antibacterial peptide provided by the invention can efficiently inhibit staphylococcus aureus and escherichia coli, the MIC of the antibacterial peptide to staphylococcus aureus is 2 mu g / mL, and the MIC of the antibacterial peptide to escherichia coli is 8 mu g / mL; and meanwhile, the antibacterial peptide still maintains relatively low hemolytic toxicity under high concentration. The length of the antibacterial peptide is only 9 amino acids, and the antibacterial peptide is easy to synthesize and prepare. The invention provides a novel antibacterial peptide for developing a bacteriostatic agent and a medicine for preventing or treating bacterial infection, and the antibacterial peptide has the advantages of strong bacteriostatic ability, broad-spectrum bactericidal activity, safety performance, low-cost synthesis application and the like. The method has outstanding practical value and wide application prospect.
